This picture of a state-of-the-art building in an idyllic setting shows the soon to open first creation museum of the United States. Built in Kentucky, the idea of its designers is that the Bible is a scientific book whose every sentence needs to be taken literally. Therefore, visitors will be able to enjoy never-before-seen scenes: such as giraffes and dinosaurs prancing around Adam and Eve. Or vegetarian dinosaurs (such as T-Rex [sic]) peacefully cohabitating with the first two humans. Indeed, man as well as animals were made on the sixth day of creation. Creationism sweeps aside more than a century of scientitic research, starting with Darwin's theory of evolution, according to which genes adapt to their surroundings and change, hence the polymorphous genes of the species and the slow gradual metamorphosis from ape to man. As the great epistemologist Karl Popper paradoxically put it in Conjectures and Refutations (1963), "A theory which is not refutable by any conceivable event is non-scientific. Irrefutability is not a virtue of a theory (as people think) but a vice." This is the main difference between science and extreme religious thinking, which does not accept criticism.

yes, i will!
hope you're well: by the way, il liked your eiffel blog...
Actually, I will tell you something helpful about your blog. You can remove those spam blogs, by reading your comments after you post a new blog. There will be a trashcan under each comment and you can chose to suppress any comment you dont want on your blog. I have to dump a lot of mine because I get all sorts of dating ones. As if...... So what did you think about Jim Carrey in that movie? I was left wanting a little more from the movie and his performance.
Another comment, since I get in trouble for being anti-french I am going to scold you for being anti-creationist(?). I think a museum dedicated to the timeline of the bible has as much validation as any other museum. All works of art are the opinion and viewpoint of the artist, and museum are sometimes little more than historic works of art. They are just a larger group of peoples' ideas or viewpoints. Think about how history keeps "reinventing" itself with new discoveries. Alright, so this museum might seem somewhat laughable to some, but to others, I should think it will be much appreciated.
Thanks angela for your comments: granted, there's nothing wrong with wanting to create some kind of biblical museum, in the same vein as Disneyworld. But claiming that the Bible is a book of scientific knowledge which dismisses all other theories is not only laughable, it's actually absurd, logically speaking. Methinks, anyway...
anyway, if you have time, check my latest blog: it was fun to write!
